my flower garden! gone for now
As many of you know, our house has been a real fixer-upper, This summer we have been focusing on the front yard. We started by tilling up all the weeds and leveling the dirt. In this process we also procured alot of rocks which we are using in our park-strip. After we leveled it. . . we tilled it again to get some of the areas that needed it again. Then we leveled it again. This week I have been working on digging the trenches for sprinklers. We are conserving money by just running the lines to the hose. Maybe next year we will put in a whole timer system and everything. If we can get the sprinklers in this week, then next week we can plant grass. YAY!
It is looking good. We are excited for you. It is amazing what grass will do to change the overall look of your home. As far as doing the trenches yourselves, WAY TO GO, that is not an easy task in rocky soil.
